Flash Flip Brochure - NetDev Ltd

NetDev requried an attractive and easy to use Flash brochure with a page turning feel that could reflect the range of telcom and web 2.0 applications that they deliver.

There are lots of page flipping Flash systems but none really did the nice page curl that we wanted on static images to give that real page 'feel'. It's surprising how complex curling an image can be in Flash but using a range techniques and using 3rd party libraries we managed to put together a pretty comprehensive flip book system thats pretty lightweight and smooth. The interface needed to be simple and clear enabling users to quickly work out the GUI and get flipping.

Designing pages for a fixed pixel sized flip book has some unique challenges from making sure the fonts are clear and readable as well as creating a visual style that would create impact without drowning out the content.

The final brochure was delivered on memory stick as an executable file and we also provided a Mac version for all those Apple heads out there.
